The Preschool program (K-3, K-4 and K-5) is designed to meet the needs of the whole child through an environment that promotes age-appropriate and active learning experiences encouraging independence and self-confidence. The average class size is 15.
Early Pre-K and Pre-K classes focus on academic, social, and motor skills through a variety of creative and engaging learning activities and creative play experiences in the areas of language arts, music, movement, math, science, communication, and art. Students attend school from 8:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Students may be picked up at 11:30 or may remain for lunch and daycare.
Kindergarten students attend school for a full day. Each day's learning experiences include language arts, math, science, social, and motor skills activities. The kindergarten language arts instruction utilizes the Saxon phonics curriculum and the Wright Group literature collections. The math and science programs engage students in active learning through the exploration of a wide variety of concepts and manipulatives. Students are exposed to music and art activities in the classroom and through specialized enrichment classes.
