Admissions Process

Admission Procedures for New Student Applicants

1. Complete the online application and pay the $125 application fee.

2. Submit copies of academic records (Grades 1-12)

-Current year's report card

-Previous year's report card or transcript

-Most recent testing scores

3. Visit Brentwood

-School tour

-Interviews with applicant and parents

-Readiness Assessment (grades Early PK-12)

-On-site essay (grades 7-12)

4. Family will be notified of acceptance decision.

5. If applicable, and once the application process is complete (steps 1-3), submit financial assistance information.(For more information see Affording Brentwood.)

If the academic achievement level of a grade applicant in grades 2-12 is difficult to determine, appropriate testing will be administered. This testing could include instruments such as SSAT, PSAT, SAT, Stanford Achievement Tests, or subject-related tests.

All new kindergarten and 1st grade students will be given reading/math readiness tests. All Early Pre-k and Pre-K applicants will be given a readiness test to be used as an advisement tool.

Upon acceptance, parent(s) or person(s) legally responsible must sign a contract and a promissory note for tuition.Tuition payments are due on the 1st day of each month and are late after the 10th of that same month.

Upon acceptance, parents will also provide the following documents:

    • Certificate of Immunization (Georgia form 3231)
    • Hearing,Vision, Nutrition and Dental Records (Georgia form 3300)
    • Birth Certificate (copy)
    • Social Security Card (copy)
