Admissions

Thank you for your interest. The major objective of Brentwood School is to provide a quality college-preparatory education for each child enrolled in the school. In order to fulfill this objective, admission standards are applied to student applicants so that a student entering Brentwood has a reasonable expectation of success with our college-preparatory program. All students who apply for admission will be considered as individuals, and admissions decisions will be based on a combination of factors. Brentwood School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available at the school. The school seeks to ensure an appropriate match between a prospective student/family and the mission and philosophy of the school. Brentwood's admission process affirms the dignity and worth of each individual and respects the needs of students and families to learn about the school programs and activities. The school seeks to clearly communicate the policies and procedures of the school and its member associations in order for families to make an informed decision concerning potential enrollment. Brentwood School is committed to high standards and ethical behavior in all areas of school operation.

Students presently enrolled and in good standing have first priority for consideration for enrollment. Siblings of presently enrolled students have second priority, and children of Brentwood alumni have third priority.

Students entering Early Pre-K must be at least 3 years old by September 1; Pre-K must be at least 4 years old by September 1. Students entering kindergarten must be at least 5 years old by September 1, and students entering first grade must be at least 6 years old by September 1.
