'It is truly an honor to be selected as the next Head of School. Brentwood is deeply personal to me because of the people who make up this remarkable community,' said Dickey. 'My vision is for Brentwood to be a place where excellence is expected, faith is central, and joy is evident??where academics, athletics, fine arts, and Christian spiritual development thrive together to equip well-rounded young men and women to fulfill the calling God has placed on their lives and impact the world for Jesus.'
In addition to his administrative leadership, Mr. Dickey has been deeply involved in the life of the school, previously serving as Offensive Coordinator for the 2021 State Champion Football Team and currently serving as Head Coach of the defending Region Champion and No. 1-ranked Girls Basketball Team. His leadership philosophy centers on relationships, communication, and a commitment to balancing tradition with forward-thinking progress.
Jamie is married to Laura Beth Dickey, and they have four daughters: Laura Bennett (7th grade), Lucy (5th grade), Ella (4th grade), and Betty (1st grade).
The Brentwood Board of Directors extends its sincere gratitude to the Search Committee for its diligence and leadership throughout the selection process, as well as to the entire Brentwood community for its engagement and support.
Mr. Dickey will work closely with current Head of School Danny Howell over the next semester to ensure a smooth and seamless transition. Mr. Howell announced his resignation entering the 2025??2026 school year following an exceptionally successful seven-year tenure as Head of School.

Brentwood is well-positioned for continued excellence, and I am fully committed to supporting a smooth transition as Jamie steps into this role.'
Under Mr. Howell's leadership, Brentwood experienced significant growth in enrollment, campus infrastructure, academic programs, and community engagement. Alongside Mr. Dickey, the pair helped double enrollment, school revenue, and fundraising, positioning the school for long-term sustainability and success.
