Accreditation
Brentwood School is dually accredited by Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS) and Cognia (formerly AdvancED). Accreditation is a voluntary process of self-evaluation and continuous improvement that reflects required standards/indicators, involves a self-study, and includes a peer review by educators from other schools. The dual SAIS/Cognia accreditation is designed specifically for independent schools. The process recognizes and respects each school's mission, goals, culture, and history while still fulfilling stringent and focused compliance requirements.
