From Sandersville, take SR24 to Milledgeville. As you cross the Oconee River coming into Milledgeville, SR22 will be common with SR24. Follow the SR22 signs through Milledgeville, and as you are leaving Milledgeville (approximately one mile after passing the US441 Bypass intersection), turn right from SR22 onto SR212 toward Monticello. Follow the SR212 signs through Monticello (entering the town square on one corner and following the one way traffic half way around the square and leaving the town square on the opposite corner). Continuing on SR212, go approximately one mile from the town square to where SR212 makes a right hand turn (SR16 will go straight). Take the right hand turn and follow SR212. Piedmont will be located on SR212 on top of the hill (approximately 1/2 mile after making the right hand turn from SR16). Allow 1 hour 15 minutes travel time.
