From Sandersville, take SR88 to Wrens. Just South of Wrens, turn left from SR88 onto US1 North. Proceed through Wrens and then towards Augusta on US1 North. As you are entering the Augusta area, you will come to the US1/I-520 (Bobby Jones Expressway) Interchange. Go under I-520 (Bobby Jones Expressway) and immediately exit from US1 by taking a right on the loop ramp. Follow the loop up to I-520 (BJE) and proceed on I-520 (BJE) for approximately 4 ½ miles to the Wheeler Road interchange. (Note: The Wheeler Road interchange will be the third interchange you come to on I-520/BJE following the Gordon Highway Interchange and the Wrightsboro Road interchange). Take the Wheeler Road exit ramp from I-520 (BJE). At the end of the exit ramp, take a right turn from the ramp onto Wheeler Road. Continue straight on Wheeler Road. Westminster’s entrance is on the left side of Wheeler Road approximately 2 ¼ miles from I-520 (BJE). Checkpoint Notes: On Wheeler Road, you will go straight at the Walton Way Extension intersection (which is about ¾ mile from I-520/BJE), then you will go straight at a 4-way stop (which is about a mile from the Walton Way Extension intersection), then Westminster’s entrance will be on the left about ½ mile after the 4-way stop. Allow 1 ½ hours for travel time.
