From Sandersville, take SR15 South through Tennille and on into Wrightsville. In the center of Wrightsville as you pass the County Courthouse on your left, turn right at the first red light from SR15 onto US319/SR31 and proceed to East Dublin. Once in East Dublin, follow the US319 signs, cross the Oconee River, enter Dublin. Still following the US319 signs through Dublin, you will soon be common with US441 South. Follow the US319/US441 South signs out of Dublin until you come to the I-16 interchange. Take a right from US319/US441 South onto the I-16 West ramp (towards Macon). Proceed on I-16 West for approximately 27 miles and exit on the SR96 interchange. At the end of the I-16 exit ramp, turn right on SR96 towards Jeffersonville. Go approximately one mile from I-16, then turn right from SR96 onto County Road # 194 which is known locally as Prospect Church Road. Go approximately one mile (passing paved County Road #200 on your right about ¾ of the way) and turn right from County Road #194/Prospect Church Road onto County Road #201 which is known locally as Hamlin-Floyd Road. Go straight on Hamlin-Floyd Road/County Road #201 for approximately one mile and the entrance to Twiggs Academy will be on your left (Twiggs Academy sits off Hamlin-Floyd Road about ¼ mile but is visible from Hamlin-Floyd Road). Allow 1 ½ hours for travel time. |
