From Sandersville, take SR88 to Wrens. Just South of Wrens, turn left from SR88 onto US1 North. Proceed through Wrens and then towards Augusta on US1 North. As you are entering the Augusta area, you will come to the US1/I-520 (Bobby Jones Expressway) Interchange. Go under I-520 (Bobby Jones Expressway) and immediately exit from US1 by taking a right on the loop ramp. Follow the loop up to I-520 (BJE) and proceed on I-520 (BJE) for approximately 3 ½ miles to the Wrightsboro Road interchange. (Note: The Wrightsboro Road interchange will be the second interchange you come to on I-520/BJE following the Gordon Highway Interchange). Exit from I-520 (Bobby Jones Expressway). At the end of the BJE(I-520) exit ramp, turn right onto Wrightsboro Road. Proceed approximately 2+ miles on Wrightsboro Road and the Newman Tennis Center will be on your left (across from the end of the Daniel Field Airport Runway which will be on your right). Allow 1 ½ hours for travel time. |
