From Sandersville, take SR88 to Wrens. Just South of Wrens, turn left from SR88 onto US1 North. Proceed through Wrens and then towards Augusta on US1 North. As you are entering the Augusta area, you will come to the US1/I-520 (Bobby Jones Expressway) Interchange. Go under I-520 (Bobby Jones Expressway) and immediately exit from US1 by taking a right on the loop ramp. Follow the loop up to I-520 (BJE) and proceed on I-520 (BJE) for approximately 5 miles to the I-20 interchange. (Note: The I-20 interchange will be the fourth interchange you come to on I-520/BJE following the Gordon Highway Interchange, the Wrightsboro Road interchange, and the Wheeler Road interchange). Still on I-520/BJE, continue through the I-20 interchange going under I-20. Then, in ¼ mile I-520/BJE becomes SR232, however you continue straight on SR232 through the Scott Nixon/Pleasant Home Road intersection. In approximately 1 ¼ mile you will come to the Washington Road (SR104) intersection. Turn right from SR232 onto Washington Road (SR104). Go approximately 1 ¼ miles, then turn left from Washington Road (SR104) onto Baston Road immediately crossing railroad tracks as you make this turn. Proceed straight on Baston Road for about a mile. Augusta Christian will be on your left. Allow 1 ½ hours for travel time. |
